A Convergence of Chaos and Creativity

RUNAMUK is leading a revolution in Irish Hip-Hop, where innovation, cultural commentary, and emotional resonance collide to create music that transcends boundaries. Comprised of producer Odd Numbers and rappers Wallfella and Flynn Johnson, the group represents a fusion of artistic voices that redefines what it means to create music in Ireland today. Their sound is deeply rooted in Irish identity yet reaches far beyond, blending raw storytelling, genre-defying production, and resolute authenticity.

The avant-garde collective was born out of impromptu studio sessions that revealed an undeniable chemistry among its members. Odd Numbers, a producer known for his genre-blurring work that melds Jazz-Hop, Neo-Soul, and contemporary Hip-Hop, lays the foundation with intricate, emotionally rich soundscapes. Wallfella adds unfiltered lyricism drawn from his experiences in Dublin’s Northside, bringing raw energy and a distinctly Irish perspective. Flynn Johnson completes the trio with sharp, introspective storytelling, offering cultural critique and reflections on resilience and growth. Together, they create a sound that is equal parts personal and groundbreaking, reflecting their shared commitment to pushing the boundaries of Hip-Hop.

RUNAMUK’s music is a fusion of the introspective warmth of Boom-Bap, the groove of Soul, the edge of contemporary Hip-Hop, and the experimental energy of electronic music. The result is a soundscape that is at once familiar and entirely their own. Lyrically, their work explores themes of mental health, societal inequities, and personal identity, balancing emotional depth with moments of defiance and celebration. Their debut album, slated for release in late 2025, promises to take their artistry even further, offering a bold blend of genres that reflects their evolution and ambition.

RUNAMUK’s impact extends beyond the studio. Their alignment with Golden Éire Records underscores a shared mission to elevate Irish Hip-Hop through collaboration and cultural integrity. On stage, they have already made their mark with standout performances at Culture Night Cavan, Nealo’s "November Medicine" album launch at Whelan’s, and Sound House Rising in Dublin. These live shows highlight their raw energy, emotional connection with audiences, and ability to command stages, making them a compelling act within the Irish and international music landscapes.

Their involvement in the upcoming Irish Hiphop 4 Palestine compilation, a project supporting humanitarian efforts in Palestine, reflects RUNAMUK’s commitment to using their platform for meaningful action. This alignment with social causes is integral to their identity as artists who see Hip-Hop not only as a medium for expression but also as a force for change.

RUNAMUK is not just another collective; they are its evolution. Grounded in authenticity and driven by an unrelenting pursuit of innovation, they stand poised to reshape the Irish music landscape and inspire a global audience. For RUNAMUK, the goal is not simply to create—it is to resonate, to inspire, and to lead the charge into a new era of Irish Hip-Hop.
