From Dublin 15 to Curraghmore

The booking marks a significant next step in the live development of Flynn’s debut album, THE GREEN BOX THEORY, released through Golden Éire Records on 7 November 2025.

Set primarily in mid-to-late 2000s Dublin 15, the twelve-track concept album centres on the familiar green electricity box found across Irish housing estates. Across the record, the box becomes a meeting place, playground, witness, memorial and recurring narrator, holding stories of friendship, humour, grief, reputation and survival.

Flynn has described the album as “a love letter to the estate and a thank-you note for the lessons it taught me”.

From the Hill in Dublin 15 to the forest at Curraghmore Estate, Flynn Johnson brings the world of THE GREEN BOX THEORY to his first festival stage.
